Fiji Hideaway Resort & Spa

I had been here 20 months ago and for the price I thought it was excellent value so came again. I choose the cheapest unit and it is in need of upgrading but when that happens it will be more expensive. I have Coeliac Disease so must eat gluten free and I found a different tasty meal I could eat each night.There is a lot of choice in the evening meals. Breakfast buffet was also good for me with gluten free bread supplied and toasted for me in the kitchen. Beach is tidal as I expect all the Coral Coast is and snorkelling is good at high tide near the large rock with lots of fish. Guided walk out to the reef to see the new coral growth at low tide is excellent and free. I would definitely go again but take my own beach towels, my own snorkelling mask and a clothes line next time.

Friendly, warm, wonderful staff. Beautiful location. Whilst the facilities are a little dated, offers all you need for a relaxing holiday. We really loved our bure with shutters open to allow the sounds of the ocean and sea breezes. Bathroom was clean and great shower with hot water for after snorkeling at front door. We did not use the pool at all - preferred the ocean. Pool was for both kids and adults which may not suit everyone. Breakfast simple but adequate. We found the dinner options delicious - an alacarte menu, Tandoori and Japanese restaurant on site with great food available. Happy hour activities and a lovely family vibe. Overall- not the fanciest place you could stay but authentic and honest, value for money and we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice stay at the hideaway. It’s a bit tired but overall fun place. The Indian food is awesome. Front desk staff could be more friendly overthwise staff are awesome

Stayed here for our honeymoon in 2004 in a Beach Front Bure so first choice to come back to celebrate a milestone birthday in 2025, again in a Beach Front Bure. Love the surroundings, people are awesome, comfy spacious accommodation with a double shower and outside tiled tub. The Spa offers wonderful services at great prices - the first massage was amazing so went back for body scrub the next day. If you want quintessential Fiji without the high rise buildings and hoards of people, we highly recommend the Hideaway. We will definitely be back - in fact, didn't want to leave. The staff will always great you with a smile and are extremely helpful. They make you feel special. Lots of activities to get involved in, or you can just sit back and relax the whole time - which is what a Fijian holiday is all about I say. Even though it's about 1.5hrs from Nadi, it's a fabulous spot. Do however, bring your boat shoes as the sand is essentially little bits of coral, not soft sand.

This was our second visit to Hideaway. This small resort has soul, unlike the big resorts. The beachfront villas are open and roomy, with views to die for. We love the pool, and the trip to the local village. The satff are genuine and very friendly, all quite authentic.
